SEPTEMBER 13
1948

Walter Werner founds Werner Electric Supply in Neenah, WI.

1955

Werner Electric Supply begins a partnership with Allen-Bradley that continues today.

1950

Werner moves operations to 980 Chapman Avenue, Neenah, WI.

1961

Lynn Werner steps into the role of President following his father’s passing.

1984

Lynn T. MacDonald joined Werner Electric Supply as V.P. of Sales and Marketing with a clear vision for the company’s direction.

1995

Locations opened in Wausau, Iron Mountain, Ashland, Fond du Lac, and Wisconsin Rapids.

1986

Lynn purchased Werner Electric Supply on September 29, 1986.

1999

Werner Electric Supply acquired branches in Stevens Point, Janesville, and Madison.

2005

Expanded into Southeast Wisconsin with locations in Sheboygan, Kenosha, and Pewaukee.

2020

Craig Wiedemeier appointed President of Werner Electric Supply, ushering an era of enhanced customer service.

2016

Ground broke for the Appleton headquarters on April 22, 2015. Doors opened February 29, 2016.

2025

Werner (formerly Werner Electric Supply) announces the next step to put customers at the heart of its brand and strategy.
